Psihologia ca profesiune şi deontologia intervenţiilor psihologice în managementul resurselor umane

Profesia de psiholog, la fel ca oricare alta, presupune respectarea unor norme etice, aceasta cu atât mai mult cu cât obiectul principal al intervenţiilor psihologilor îl formează fiinţa umană. Ori, psihologii, prin natura profesiei lor, trebuie să se implice activ în respectarea intimităţii şi integrităţii psihice a fiecărei persoane, să promoveze şi să protejeze drepturile fundamentale ale omului.
Psihologii, prin profesia pe care o practică, sunt preocupaţi de îmbogăţirea cunoştinţelor proprii despre comportamentul uman, de înţelegerea propriilor manifestări şi ale altora, de utilizarea cunoştinţelor de psihologie pentru promovarea unei integrări optime socioprofesionale.
